this is a private rp blog for norman osborn / the green goblin primarily based within the sam raimi spider-man trilogy + spiderman no way home. i am not associated with sam raimi, marvel or willem dafoe.i have not read any of the spiderman comics, though i have read others, i may dabble in them eventually but as of right now i am primarly film / headcanon based.the only thing on this blog that belongs to me is my interpretation / headcanons and edits.standard rp etiquette applies , please ask before controlling norman / the goblin in a major way , please don’t unfollow / refollow to get my attention . try to keep the drama in character and we should be good !

FORMATTING / WRITING .

i do pretty much any writing from one-liners, single paragraph and multipara replies , it mostly depends on inspiration or muse.my formatting usually includes an indentation at the beginning of paragraphs. i use both small and large text for emphasis, i triple space between dialogue, thoughts, and "important" information.i rarely dabble in colored text outside of promos or pinned posts.if any of my formatting makes it hard for you to see or read please let me know and i will do my best to be accommodating !i understand small text can be hard to read. you do not have to match my formatting or the length of my replies !

︱THE GOBLIN . the goblin and norman are two separate beings within the same body, i would describe their relationship as parasitic with norman being the host.the content on this blog is in no way meant to represent Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). i personally do not believe the goblin is an alter within a system, i view him more like one might view eddie brock and venom, the difference being the goblin cannot exist outside of norman.the goblin is a personification + amplification of norman's negative traits caused by the Goblin Formula, there will be more in depth analyses of the goblin and norman, their relationship and coexistence within norman's mind as my portrayal develops, and these will be linked in the dossier section.if you have comments or concerns about this please don't be afraid to talk to me.︱NORMAN OSBORN . norman is neglectful and abusive, he is a cruel individual, these are things that will be talked about here. please do not try to romanticize this behavior.

  • this verse takes place during their time in the mcu, and can take place at any time within the film.

  • when it is norman, he is actively fighting the Goblin for control over his body and is trying to get rid of the menace.

  • the Goblin on the other hand does spend some time either watching through norman or masquerading as him.

  • when the Goblin is finally revealed he has very little desire to let norman take control again, and is determined not to, as he knows osborn's plan is to get rid of him.

POST NO WAY HOME .

  • this is an open category, as there are a lot of possibilities.

  • within this verse Normna is a lot different, as he is dealing with the feeling that something is missing as well as ptsd from his time as the goblin / the gaps in his memory and knowing he has harmed people without actually remembering, though it is highly unlikely he would seek out professional help. this verse is very much still a WIP.
